PL-Alliance member R&B Global Projects, Croatia has been appointed to arrange a shipment of a regeneration skid package on direct way from Eversendai Yard, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE to Sembawang Yard in Singapore. It was decided to ship the piece, 149tons & 11m length, on a direct basis as solo cargo on a multipurpose heavy lift charter.

Because of the limited movement capabilities, prohibition of welding and the limited lashing options the shipment was very critical. But due to great preparation and know-how, R&B Global Projects has successfully completed the shipment.

    Very well done!

AGL handled Heat Exchanger to Ghana

Alexander Global Bremen just executed the shipment of several heat exchanger incl. accessories ex customers fabrication in Berlin via Hamburg Port to Tema, Ghana.

Although the dimensions and weight aren`t quite huge, the heat exchangers is considered very sensitive cargo due to special welded pipes. Even small vibrations during the transport can lead to hairline cracks which may have huge impact on the cargos function.

Therefore it was decided to move this units on 40’ Mafi Trailers under deck ex Hamburg to Tema by Con/Ro Vessel.

AGL Germany has been in charge of the full scope up to CFR Tema.

    Very well done, AGL Bremen!
