Becoming a member of the Project Logistics Alliance opens doors to vast opportunities for business developments. We welcome all project savvy companies to apply.

To us at Drewes Group, the Project Logistics Alliance truly feels like a family. From the very first start many years ago, we have felt welcome and accepted by what are now our most trusted partners worldwide. The level of expertise found with each and every member is such a high level that it is a real honor for us to be part of this family. And it has paid off. We have assisted other members in some very nice projects, and quite importantly, other members have given us first-class support on many of our projects. Together, we can serve our customers and provide them with solutions that match their needs perfectly. We always look forward to meeting our partners and friends at the annual conference, which – at least to me –always feels like an invigorating experience that gives me new insights and new energy to boost our performance for another year to come. Thanks and kudos to the Project Logistics Alliance team which makes this possible.

Here at Hemisphere Freight UK we were recommended by two separate partner agents to join the Project Logistics Alliance. You are never quite sure when you join a Network what it might be like, so it was great to receive very positive comments in advance of making an application. Having joined we can certainly say that it has been a very positive experience so far. With our 180 strong team and 5 offices / warehouses in the UK we have managed to support many of the members through our extensive experience built up over the last 37 years.Similarly, we have been delighted with the quality and expertise of the members in PLA who have supported us on many very important projects overseas. The annual meetings have been organized very well and we have made some strong and long-term partnerships which continue to flourish. This is in no small part due to the excellent management of the Network in bringing people together, ensuring that only true project experts are approved and giving us the reassurance that we need to know our cargo is always in safe hands.

Partnering with the Project Logistics Alliance (PLA) in 2022 has been a positive experience. PLA’s global network of top-tier project logistics specialists has given us access to extensive expertise and resources. The diverse network of professionals we collaborate with in PLA has been instrumental in tackling complex logistical challenges and expanding our capabilities. Moreover, the PLA team is outstanding and always ready to help. Their commitment to excellence and fostering a collaborative community, along with well-organized annual meetings, have been beneficial. Since joining PLA, we have seen noticeable improvement in our logistics performance and client satisfaction. We highly recommend PLA to any company seeking to elevate their logistics operations.

Business Director, Ocean Freight at NTG Air & Ocean Oy

We joined the PLA more than 5 years ago in 2019, and I really like it. It’s not such a bulky community but a nice and warm family. Each member has the opportunity to know their partners deeply.Tacit understanding and trust are important bases for good cooperation. If there are too many members of the community, every time we meet, everyone is as hasty like going to the supermarket, and even the looks of each other may be forgotten after returning, let alone cultivating mutual understanding and trust. After years of experience in PLA, we have not only found reliable partners but also good friends, which we cherish very much.Thank you, PLA, for providing us with such a relaxed, warm, and hopeful project family.

Project Director at OceanSpon (China) International Logistics Co., Ltd

During our 35 years in business, we've travelled to many wonderful countries to meet fellow logistics professionals. This April, PLA hosted the annual meeting in our home country Panama. It was our first meeting with PLA and we immediately clicked with their organizers and members. The event was well-organized (the PLA Team even worked with Panama’s official promotion agency PROMTUR without us connecting them) and everyone felt at home. I noticed how knowledgeable the companies and CEOs attending were and how we spoke the same business language. Before the meeting, we even had virtual sessions with 4 members who were coming, and during the event, we managed to close some new business which gave me back my investments in just one month. That is what I call a good ROI.

Project Logistics Alliance… those three words say it all!
Project Logistics Alliance… those three words say it all!Around ten years ago, we became one of the first members of the PLA Group to cover the Balkan area. Since then, I have watched this organization grow at a carefully considered and steady pace into what it is today: a highly professional group with a strong focus on projects and a network of well-selected, hands-on members. The dynamics often feel like a “family,” where everyone has a proven track record in the project logistics industry and can be fully relied upon. Requests are met with quick feedback, transparent communication, and—very often—successful solutions that benefit all involved, in good times and in challenging ones alike. For us in the Balkans, a region that is small and often overlooked with limited industrial potential, the support we receive is truly appreciated. This applies not only to regional activities but also to cross-trade, global ship chartering, and more mature project cargo operations. Knowing that other members rely on us for Balkan expertise and local knowledge gives us a strong sense of pride and belonging. The regular get-togethers—at annual conferences, breakbulk exhibitions, or even through the WhatsApp group—remain invaluable. In today’s virtual world, these “old-school” face-to-face connections should never be lost.As a small family organization, we deliberately chose not to overgrow with every new group appearing, but instead to build long-term relationships within PLA. Special thanks go to the fantastic team behind the scenes and the organizers of the many excellent events.
PLA is truly a recommendable alliance of logistics professionals.
