9th Annual Meeting of the Project Logistics Alliance

The 2026 Project Logistics Alliance Annual General Meeting marked a truly significant milestone, ten years since the founding of PLA. More than an annual gathering, this year's event was a celebration of the relationships, trust, and spirit of collaboration that have defined our network across a decade of growth.

Returning to Vietnam for the first time in eight years, we were delighted to reunite with many of our longest-standing members, several of whom have been part of the PLA family from the very beginning. Their continued presence and loyalty stand as a testament to the enduring strength of the partnerships forged within our network.

The event opened on 21st April with a Welcome Reception set against the glittering Ho Chi Minh City skyline. Members enjoyed a relaxed evening of networking, reconnecting with familiar faces, and raising a glass to the days ahead. We extend our sincere thanks to SME Logistics for welcoming us to their home city and for generously sponsoring the evening's reception.

Over the next two days, the meeting room came alive with the energy that defines this community. Deals were explored, ideas exchanged openly, and the foundations laid for collaborations that will take shape in the months ahead. For many delegates, the business meetings are the heart of the AGM and this year, with the added momentum of a ten-year anniversary, the conversations felt particularly purposeful.

The first day drew to a close with our Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony aboard the Saigon Princess, gliding along the Saigon River. It was a fitting setting to celebrate excellence across the network, recognise outstanding agents from around the world, and honour our longest-serving members for their dedication and contribution over the past decade, a genuine tribute to the people whose commitment has helped shape PLA's journey. We also extend our warmest thanks to Convoy Logistics Providers for their support as Gala Dinner Sponsor.

On the second evening, attendees were treated to an immersive glimpse into Vietnam's rich culture and hospitality. The programme opened at the historic Saigon Opera House, a 126-year-old landmark, with the acclaimed À Ố Show, a vivid and imaginative portrait of Vietnamese rural life and tradition. Guests then gathered for dinner at Hoa Tuc, a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant celebrated for its contemporary Vietnamese cuisine, offering a refined backdrop for further connection and conversation.

Following the AGM, members joined a guided tour of Ho Chi Minh City, taking in the storied Independence Palace, the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral, and the beautifully preserved Central Post Office. The programme concluded with a hands-on Vietnamese chocolate-making workshop, a delightful and memorable cultural experience. A farewell lunch brought the event to a warm close, with new connections and renewed friendships laying the groundwork for future cooperation.
