About 1 year ago Alexander Global Bremen (AGL) PLA member for Germany, Russia, and Mongolia has been awarded the HDPE the Plant project. The project includes the complete logistics for the movement of a second hand HDPE Plant from Burghausen, Germany to CFR Bandar Abbas Iran. The total volume consisted of about 400 x SOC Container and approximately. 7000 FRT break bulk cargo. The main OOG Units got following details: 2500 x 500 x 500 / 130 tons 850 x 550 x 600 / 45 tons 850 x 550 x 600 / 45 tons 620 x 300 x 200 / 54 tons 700 x 340 x 350 / 42 tons The project is right now in the “hot†phase as the OOG units just moved during the last 2 months. The biggest units have been moved by combined road/barge via the port Passau onward to Antwerp and finally to Bandar Abbas, Iran. We expect that the entire project will be finished end by end of June 2017. AGL is responsible for the complete logistics part as from on-site in Burghausen to Bandar Abbas. As the plant is a second-hand one the special task is to have a strict follow up on all details like dims / weights in order to make sure that permits and transport arrangements will work perfectly. For this reason, AGL has sent own logistics coordinator on site for 6 months who takes care of all local arrangements and was in deep contact with all involved companies like dismantling company, the site owner, the crane company, trucking companies, and of course AGL’s customer. This is another example of AGL’s capabilities in the second-hand movement of complete plants.

Alexander Global Logistics (AGL), PLA member for Germany, Russia, and Mongolia got a request to move a dismantled dump truck from US East Coast to Sankt Petersburg. The critical point in this case was the very strict deadline due to the fact that cargo should be presented at an exhibition. And of cause exhibition would not wait for the cargo.
After checking several options overnight, considering the advantages, the disadvantages, the costs and the risks for the delay on the several options AGL presented the solution, transshipment via Antwerp, to the customer.
The customer approved the solution and AGL started the planning process of the job. One week after confirmation the OOG (oversize/overweight goods) and SOC (Shippers owned containers) had been loaded at the factory and moved to Norfolk port where OOG was stuffed on mafi trailer. After the arrival of the ocean vessel in Antwerp, the cargo moved on by ferry after only 1.5 days "stop in Antwerp" further to STP and arrived as planned and in time.
Everything went exactly as planned by the AGL Project Team and thus ensuring the dump truck will be part of the exhibition.
The main units have the following details:
783 x 475 x 336 cms / 14 tons
1098 x 399 x 374 cms / 55 tons
+ several SOC Container with accessories

CEA Project Logistics PLA member for Thailand recently carried out the demobilisation and export of a 150 Tonne High-Pressure Plastic Injection Moulding Machine, the unit, after demobilisation was exported to Malaysia. The original factory installation of the machine was undertaken by Mitsubishi technicians who were also on hand for this demobilisation.
The CEA teams began with disconnecting all hydraulic and electrical connections and other wired interfaces. Gates and fencing were then removed along with the hydraulic power packs which were packed into pre-fabricated temporary supports. The larger parts were next, this included access platforms, supply hopper and the SEPRO robotic arm. The SEPRO robotic arm assistor is used for the omnium unloading from the machine, some technical and expert rigging was used to ensure it was fully balanced while being dismantled from the main unit. The SEPRO arm was lowered to the floor and supported whilst our expert team further proceeded to dismantle it into its respective structural movement axis.
The injector unit was removed next and immediately transported to the CEA Facility in Laem Chabang for careful packing and Loadout. The heaviest components were the last to be removed these were the 46 Tonne die head and the rear platen with ejector unit at 42 Tonnes. The CEA project teams removed the tie bar cap plates after first draining the residual oil, and then by use of the cranes proceeded to slide out the four 6 Tonne Tie-Rods that connect the tie head and platen, each of these were immediately loaded onto wooden supports and treated for rust protection.
Using special jig and tools specifically produced for this demobilisation, the teams lifted both the die head and then the platen by means of top and tailing cranes (120t and 50t respectively). Both the die head and platen were moved into a horizontal position and loaded directly onto low bed trailers, they were then transported to the CEA facility. Upon arrival at the facility, all parts were thoroughly cleaned and prepared for export. The larger parts were shrink-wrapped and loaded onto flat racks while other auxiliary parts were packed and stuffed into standard 40 ft. shipping containers. The SEPRO Robot arm was lifted into an open top container and secured in place with ratchet straps and wooden chocks. CEA Project Logistics completed all necessary documentation in preparation for export to Malaysia. This demobilisation project was completed in seven days.
