In the last few months, UPF Mozambique, a member of Project Logistics Alliance from Mozambique, successfully completed two project cargo projects, with high efficiency and seamless execution. In the first project, UPF Mozambique chartered a DS Norden vessel, named Ocean Benefit, loading 86 modified container units at Maputo Port Development Company. The cargo weighed 717.6 MT with a volume of 9,191.4 CBM. The cargo was finally discharged in Libreville, Gabon.

 

In another such project, UPF Mozambique handled the discharging of 17 x 20’ IMO containers in Maputo. With strict safety measures in place, the team aligned all conditions for safe and direct unloading of the trucks, completing the entire process under 4 hours. The containers were then loaded onto Ocean7 Group’s vessel in transit to South Africa.
