Falcon International, a member of the Project Logistics Alliance representing Canada, has successfully completed the transportation of five oversized crusher components from Bilbao, Spain to Port-Cartier, Québec. Each unit exceeded 5 metres in width and weighed up to 88 tons.

The project was executed in close coordination among Falcon International, Spliethoff, Transport Chainé Inc., and QSL, ensuring the delivery was completed smoothly, on time, and within budget.

The operation included pre-carriage, marine wrapping, terminal handling in both Bilbao and Port-Cartier, and SPMT delivery to a storage location. Additionally, the 5 transported components were propped on blocks by team Falcon International.

The 5 pieces had the following weights:

• Upper top shell: 72,100 kg
• Spider: 86,600 kg
• Lower top shell: 72,800 kg
• Upper bottom shell: 40,300 kg
• Lower bottom shell: 85,900 kg
