KGE Baltic Transports 2 Steel Rolls From Germany to Kazakhstanv03. October 2019
KGE Baltic Transport & Forwarding, member of the Project Logistics Alliance for Latvia, have just completed the delivery of two steel rolls in crate. The cargo was to be transported from Ennigerloh, Germany to Ekibastuz, Kazakhstan.
After examination and planning, the route chosen was from Germany-Belgium-Russia-Kazakhstan, using water ways from Belgium to St Petersburg per RO-RO. The transit time was 18 days from start to finish, and KGE's scope of work included:
- Loading the cargo with semi-trailers in Germany
- Delivering up to Antwerp TF terminal
v - Reloading onto a roller trailer with the following sailing to SPB harbour.
The two rolls had the following dimensions:
1) 2.52 x 2.38 x 2.20 = 31500kg
2) 2.52 x 2.38 x 2.20 = 31500kg
And additional small parts were delivered as well by the KGE team using LTL truck.
