Global Projekt Logistique Delivers Pressure Vessel & Super ODC Cargo From India

Global Projekt Logistique, member of the Project Logistics Alliance for Sri Lanka, has recently successfully transported some pressure vessels and super ODC cargo from India to multiple locations worldwide.

A pressure vessel is a container designed to hold gases or liquids at a pressure substantially different from the ambient pressure. The definition of a pressure vessel varies from country to country, but involves parameters such as maximum safe operating pressure and temperature, and are engineered with a safety factor, corrosion allowance, minimum design temperature (for brittle fracture), and involve non-destructive testing, such as ultrasonic testing, radiography, and pressure tests, usually involving water, also known as a hydrotest, but could be pneumatically tested involving air or another gas.

Global Projekt Logistique's scope of work included the on-demand seaworthy lashing and choking of the cargo, the loading of goods onto the vessel, and deliver from factory gate to delivery site.

This time round, they completed the following movements:

-Heavy lift pressure vessel loading at the port of Mundra India, the height of 5.1 meters to Tanjung, Pelepas, Malaysia.
-Handling & delivering of super ODC cargo with a single piece weight of 31 MT and height of 5m, successfully delivered to Arica, Chile.
-Handling & delivering of super ODC cargo, 11m x 3m x 3.1m ( L x W x H) & 11m x 2.5m x 2m ( L x W x H) in dimension, from Nhava Sheva & Mundra to Cebu , Philippines & Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia.
-Pressure vessel with critical timeline delivery, single piece weight of 29 MT, with a dimension of 11.2m x 2.6m x 2.5m ( L x W x H) from Nhava Sheva to Cebu, Philippines.
-Super ODC cargo, with the height of almost 5m, and a single-piece weight of 31 MT delivered successfully under hook to Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia.

Congrats to the Global Projekt Logistique team for the multiple successful deliveries!
