Alexander Global handled some Heavy Lift Cargo to Persian Gulf12. September 2019
Alexander Global Logistics, member of the Project Logistics Alliance for Germany, Russia, Mongolia just recently finished another Heavy Lift Part Charter from Europe to the Persian Gulf.
The cargo consisted of 2 x Heat Exchanger of each 175 tons + several spare parts.
AGL’s scope started as from suppliers' place in Berlin, Germany where the cargo was loaded by mobile crane into the barge. Due to the non-availability of the suitable vessel in Hamburg port AGL decided to move cargo via Antwerp Port instead in order to met customers' requirements.
After a 10-day barge journey the cargo was unloaded in Antwerp port on the quay. After the arrival of the chartered vessel AGL arranged loading of the vessel by 2 x Liebherr shore cranes. The loading operations went smoothly without any issues and the vessel departed to the final destination.
Another good example of AGL’s capability for heavy-lift transport.
Well done AGL Team!
