Our First Annual Event

Our first Annual Meeting was held in the Old Town Hilton Hotel in Antwerp from the 26.4-28.4.2017 at which we were able to welcome 42 of PLA´s valuable members representing Project Cargo specialists from all over the world. The three-day event was kicked off on the 26th with an evening reception at Café den Engel centred in the heart of Antwerp´s Old Town where all guests, friends and their families came together in a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Following our offsite-evening, the main event started on Thursday morning in the Hilton Business Conference venue where speeches from PLA´s appreciated sponsors and founding members as well as our friends and new partners from the Africa Logistics Network welcomed our guests and formally launched our Annual Meeting. For the remainder of the day, our members closely engaged into one-on-one meetings – the core our conference – facilitating a beneficial exchange around project ideas and strengthening the business relationships among our members. In the evening everyone enjoyed dinner and drinks together along with some casual networking winding down the successful day. On the last day, we continued our one-on-one meetings until our conference was concluded with a joint lunch. Members as well as organizers are more than pleased about the professional and congenial atmosphere as well as the good work outcome. In looking forward to our next Annual Meeting, we like to thank all of our members who attended and made this meeting a success.
