AGL moves industrial presses to Scotland
22. March 2017
PLA Member Alexander Global Logistics Bremen (AGL) is happy to report about another project they are handling on behalf of one of their customers.
The whole project involved approximately 200 standard trucks loads and roughly 35 oversize trucks. Cargo from several countries, with the majority coming from Germany, Poland, Italy, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, and Slovakia, were all delivered to Inverness, Scotland.
For each route, the specialised AGL team worked out the most economical routing while managing strict delivery deadlines. This includes direct routes as well as multimodal means of transporting with ferry services. The project started in the middle of January 2017 and will be completed mid-April.
This move is another good example of the variety of services AGL can offer in the field of logistics.
