You Want It? You Get It! – Project Logistics Alliance Is Hosting Virtual One-To-One Meetings14. April 2021
After one year of pandemic, we realize how virtual meetings have become an essential part of our daily business life. A camera, a headset and the internet – nothing more is required to quickly meet face to face in a software of choice.
The first two virtual events we have hosted allowed our members to come together, exchange information and contacts with already known members and meet new members and new faces of our network. Following our members’ requests to have a set meeting schedule for the next event, we provided the Meeting Manager®, a software created by network partner Kutzner Process Optimization, to the third edition of Kaffeeklatsch – a virtual Coffee Break. This tool allowed our meeting participants to request set meetings according to the individual time schedule and join virtual conversations with the members of choice. Meeting slots were available throughout two entires days (April 13 and 14) from early in the morning to late at night, so that all our members from various different time zones could join and benefit from this event.
In contrast to our previous events, where we had different styles of tables that allowed the meeting participants to have conversations with either one other person or in groups of 4, 6 or 8. This time, we prepared a virtual meeting room with one-to-one meeting tables. In the free time during the meetings, our participants were invited to use the LOUNGE areas to casually meet up. Here again, conversations with up to 6 people were possible.
