JSL Global Executes Prestigious Job Despite Limitations In Manpower Due To COVID-19

Project Logistics Alliance member Jet Shipping and Logistics Global (JSL Global) from Qatar is reporting about their most challenging project transport so far this year. The difficulties added to this transport in March 2021 were not because of overweight, extraordinary dimensions, or an extremely challenging route but because during the handling time, 9 team members of the JSL Global projects team were tested positive of COVID 19, including the project manager Mr. Rakesh Barai. In this scenario, the port operations turned out to be a true challenge for the JSL Global team.

This project shipment consisted of 490cbm Heavy Steel structure for FIFA World cup 2022 stadium, a prestigious job, handled with excellence by the JSL Global team. The cargo was moved as Break Bulk from a vessel Ex Lianyungang Port, China. JSL Global was in charge of the local handling at Hamad Port, Qatar, and direct delivery to the job site with Port MAFI trailers and Heavy low bed trailers.

As this shipment was for one FIFA stadium with lots of on-site restrictions for receiving cargo, in addition to the ongoing work of the team, this job required an immense amount of planning and coordination between several parties including Customs, Port authorities, Crane operators, traffic department, stadium authorities, etc. From isolation, Mr. Barai guided his team in the port and performed his job at outstanding responsibility.

Congratulations on this excellent performance, JSL Global!
