Gianti Logistics Handles Port Operations For An Atmospheric Vacuum Plant23. February 2021
Gianti Logistics, representing Georgia in the Project Logistics Alliance, has had a busy start to the year. Their projects and operations team moved 5878.15 CBM of cargo for modernization and rehabilitation project for the combined atmospheric vacuum plant.
The entire consignment consisted of 5308 pieces which included pipes and other industrial equipment and weighed 3438.84 tons. The entire cargo traveled the black sea and arrived at the Poti Sea Port in two vessels. The Gianti team then took over and delivered the consignment further to Azerbaijan using 321 flatbed carriers. One of the main challenges for this movement was composing an optimal loading plan given the tight transport schedules and project deadlines.
