FLS Project And SAL Heavy Lift Are Moving 800 Tons Of Luxury To From Asia To South America

Today we are sharing insights with you of another network internal collaboration. FLS Projects, who are representing the Project Logistics Alliance in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the USA, have shipped a luxurious riverboat from the calm waters of Vietnam to the Peruvian origins of the Amazon River.

FLS Projects moved this 800-tons of luxury on time, on deck – always on the spot for their clients. The dimensions of the boat were 62,4m x 11,5m x 13,6m, with 20 luxurious suites on two decks. With proven expertise in shipping floating units, besides the chartering, FLS supported the owner way in advance with engineering lift studies to propose safe lift of the riverboat and recommendations to make it seaworthy for the actual voyage.

For this transport, network partner SAL Heavy Lift was contacted for assistance. SAL perfectly matched the required schedule with a vessel of more than sufficient crane capacity. The Master and crew attended talks with the FLS team on board at different stages of the operation, which ensured the prevention of damages to the boat and at the same time safety of all staff on board. The job was done quickly, even with difficult tidal impact on lifting gear.

The FLS team of experienced specialists is available with help and advice to ensure a safe, smooth, and satisfying operation. Congratulations on the successful transfer!
