Farcont Projects And Convoy Logistics Providers Unite Forces For Delivery Of Solar Turbines05. February 2020
The end of the last year 2019 was an incredibly busy period for Project Logistics Alliance member Farcont from Ukraine. One of the project movements they have been handling was a collaboration with another member of the network: Convoy Logistics Providers from Canada.
In close cooperation, the two companies have managed the delivery of Solar Turbines for the gas storage of a state-owned company in the destination region Kharkov, Ukraine. The transport of the project with a total volume of 4300 freight tons started in Carson, CA, USA. The four heaviest items had a weight of 90 metric tons and a height of 4,17m. In the storage area of Odessa port, the cargoes were discharged by 2x 100mt cranes simultaneously from the vessel and loaded on heavy low-loader trucks for the delivery to the final destination.
It’s always great to see our members working together for the achievement of one common goal. Congratulations to both teams for the successful delivery of this project from the Project Logistics Alliance!
