1st Annual Meeting Antwerp


Our first Annual Meeting was held in the Old Town Hilton Hotel in Antwerp from the 26-28 April, 2017 at which we were able to welcome 42 of the Project Logistics Alliance's valuable members representing Project Cargo specialists from all over the world.

This three-day event kicked off on the evening of Wednesday 26 April with an evening reception at Café den Engel centred in the heart of Antwerp´s Old Town. All guests, friends and their families came together in a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Following our off-site evening, the main event started on Thursday morning in the Hilton Business Conference venue with speeches from the Alliance's appreciated sponsors and founding members; as well as friends and new partners from the Africa Logistics Network to welcome our guests and formally launch our Annual Meeting. For the remainder of the day, our members closely engaged into one-to-one meetings – the core of our conference – facilitating a beneficial exchange around project ideas and strengthening the business relationships amongst our members. In the evening, everyone enjoyed dinner and drinks together along with some casual networking - winding down a successful day. On Friday, our final day, we continued with one-to-one meetings until our conference concluded with a joint lunch.
Members as well as organizers were more than pleased about the professional and congenial atmosphere; as well as the good work that was the outcome of this gathering. As we look forward to our next Annual Meeting, we would like to thank all of our members who attended in Antwerp and made this meeting such a success.
